I realize that you are just now forming up this group. However, would it not first be necessary to set out a written set of specific objectives, desired operational structure, the types of people who are being sought for membership, and the types of skills needed from each member? Would it make sense to federate this new group with a national group, such as, for example, the The American Redoubt Radio Operators' Network (www.amrron.com) for communications, and other national groups for non-communications functions? What is the connection with the Liberty and Preparedness Network, which I understand has a call tree for information dissemination? Since FEMA procedures call for the disconnection of all wireless, landline and cable (Internet) connections to an area in which there is a civil disturbance, is not this call tree, if implemented by any one of those means, completely useless?
